| On Aug.24th. Marlene & I took off East again toward Atlanta, GA. We had been invited to attend a Birthday Party for Ms. Bonnie "Hudgins" Bowman, her 90th by her G.Daughter Lisa Meadows-Eidson. Ms. Bonnie is the youngest daughter of our G.Aunt, Sara Alis Robershaw. We had been requested to be there by noon, I thought we were making such good time, that we would be there by 11:00 AM. Then we crossed the state line and saw the sign that GA is in the eastern time zone!! Any how we made it pretty close to Noon. Enjoyed the beautiful country drive off the freeway to Tanner State Park. I can see why our relatives felt at home in AL or GA the scenery is very similar!! After we arrived we waited with the rest of family for the guest of Honor to arrive!! At 1:00pm a big white limousine arrived with the guest of Honor and her children, to the delight of the waiting crowd of children and family clapping & cheering! Her G.Grandson escorted her past as everyone blew bubble's at her!! | ||||||||||||

| The lunch was wonderful and the weather was very comfortable. There was a lake to swim in, Marlene kept saying I wish I had my bathing suit!! A beautiful setting, similar to picnic area at Calloway Gardens. The Family was most Gracious and, there was a young lady & brother, who entertained after lunch with a beautiful medley of bluegrass gospel music!! As the Party was coming to a close Ms. Bonnie was given the microphone and Thanked everyone for coming and expressed her desire for all of us to have our Hearts right with the Lord so she would be sure to see us again in Heaven!! You can see why she is Loved and Appreciated by those around Her!!! | ||||||||||||
