Sam Love was the 2nd child born to George F. Love and Josephine Nance, October 8 1896, in Clay Co. Alabama. Sam was a farmer and a cotton mill worker. Sam and his wife Anna Lou Hubbard had three children, Morrell, Sara, and Hiram, Morrell only lived two days. Sam died December 13,1968 in LaFayette, Alabama. |

Hiram is the only descendant of the Love Family that was inclined to carry on the music of their parents. His Dad Sam played the banjo. Hiram spent four years in the Navy and then went to work for Sears and also had a Antique Shop for a number of years. He planned on going into full time Gospel Music, but has had some health problems and is now fully retired in Georgia. |

Hiram & Sara. Sara married Alvin Harper a Baptist Minister who passed away Feb. 2nd,1985. Sara & Alvin had two sons Randy & LaVaugn. Sara still lives in LaFayette. |
