Well what can I say ? You should have been
there! A beautiful balmy Alabama day, lots of kids {little Robershaws}
running about and us older cousins that grew up together, who only
see each other every two years, what fun!
Several of the offspring of our grandmother
“Galbreath” Robershaw side
of the family attended, Alice Galbreath Swelling and her cousin Betty
Galbreath Adkinson who so graciously have helped Hal and I trace grandmother
Galbreath genealogy back to 1590!
I would like to THANK all the family that
pitched in and helped in various ways. Larry Stratton and Sharon
Robershaw for organizing the group pictures, Cousin Lura Mae for
providing the entertainment, and of course the wonderful lunch
by Glenda “Cochran” Robershaw and the girls that helped set it
up!!
My sister Le Verle for being a hostess and
collecting the $$. Also my sister Le Merle provided me with the
photos for the following Pages. Cousin Hal and his wife Dora for
taking care of all the arrangements for the facilities, including
clean-up! And to all who attended, I hope it was a Blessed Day
for you also! Already looking forward to seeing
you again in 2007!! Best Wishes, Ron
