Robershaw Family Reunion 2013

Well the time has come and gone for myself and a wonderful group of Family cousins one more time!! It all started when my brother Reginald was invited to a Reunion by members of Uncle A G Robershaw's Family. In 1999 Reginald had been invited again so this time he suggested that the three of us {Reginald, Le Merle, Ron} living in San Diego fly to Houston, Texas and join brother Don and sister Le Verle and go as a Family group. We enjoyed it so much, and I got to working with cousin Hal and others on tracing our genealogy. This was my sixth time to attend a Robershaw Reunion at the Falls. Unfortunatley a number of those early Family members have either passed away or are to ill to attend anymore!!

Just a note to THANK all you cousins that came out in the threat of rain!! It was a good turn out of about 55-60 Family members and as usual the food was outstanding. I would like to especially Thank, brother Don and his wife for their help, His wife Sharon cut the shopping time in half. And for cousin Hal for taking care of the drinks , ice, etc. Cousin David Gilbreath gave a great presentation on his research on behalf of our grandmother Maggie Galbreath Robershaw, and his Gilbreath lineage!! It was good to see our friend and longtime researcher Betty Adkinson and her son.

It was wonderful that Elisabeth Ann Robershaw Salers was able to come with all their Family, I was given a head count of 20 were coming to the Reunion!! And there are 20 in the group picture. I just want to Thank all of Ann's Family for their support and hopefully we can make it seven for me and my Family!! Best Wishes, and Thanks, cousin Ron
