| Bobby and Lura Mae was married December 18, 1956 at Lamar County, Military Baptist Church. Since their Anniversary was so close to Christmas they decided to have their Party after the Holidays, on January 6th, 2007. The children hosted the Party at the Brownstone's in Historic downtown Hattiesburg, MS. The Party was featured in a local magazine Signature. These photos are from that featured article! Part of the Celebration was a renewing of their wedding vows with Pastor Steve Sykes, who was in the Navy,when Bobby and Lura were in California! Lura Mae is the 1st daughter born of A G Robershaw and Audrey Wallace. She and Bobby lived in CA. for several years. Bobby and I worked as bricklayer's together on several projects. One of his last jobs was building the Chula Vista Freewill Baptist Church. Uncle A G was Pastor there for two years before he moved back to AL. Bobby also was Pastor of the Church before moving back to MS. Bobby is still active in construction building duplex apts. to rent! Cousin Lura Mae has worked at the local Hospital as a Nurse until she retired last year. She also is an Artist, and has sold several paintings!! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
