Uncle Lester was the third son born to William W. Robershaw & Mary Galbreath. In 1920 he was seventeen  years old working in the cotton mill in Alabama City. Later he went to work in the steel mill and worked there until he was injured and could not work anymore at that job. He then moved out to Walnut Grove area and farmed.

Lester was married twice, his first wife was Flossie Brown, pictured above!! After her divorce she and her son Harold moved to California. At that time, it was like Abraham in the Bible, going to a far country !! As it turned out she and the Robershaw Family was Blessed by the move!! His second marriage was to Pauline Long, and they had one son Halbert Dewey Robershaw. He is a retired truck driver in Attalla, Al. and has been responsible for keeping alive the research of the Robershaw name!!

This is Lester and Flossie's son Harold Loyd Robershaw as a young boy growing up!! The above picture has Harold's Father, Lester in background by the car. Picture on right is of Harold dressed for high school date? Harold and his wife Josephine Kelso and their baby boy William {Bill}.

Notes for Uncle Lester: Uncle Lester and Aunt Flossie had two children, Leslie Burton Robershaw. Born November 14, 1927 and died December 11, 1927. Son Harold Lloyd Robershaw was born September 8, 1929 and died of a heart attack June 21, 1980.
