We have found that the Comfort Suites, Attalla, Al. is a good hotel for the family. Their phone number is 256-538-5770. If you stay here we can have a common meeting place. Look for us after you have checked in.
At the last reunion we held a auction to help cover the expenses. Hal Robershaw has already spent $120.00 to rent the pavilion. This really works well when each family will bring one item for the auction. There are some real creative folks in the family and Hobby Lobby would love to have their products for sale. If you are like me and do not have a creative bone in your body, then bring something you would love to have in your home or bring something from your home that you know someone would love to have. Please do not let this stop you from coming. The idea of a family reunion is to get to know folks and have a good meal and lots of fun. The way the auction works is we will sell tickets that you can use to bid for an item. Obviously, the more tickets you spend on an item the more chances you will have to take that item home with you. For now the only expense we have is what Hal paid for the pavilion rental. Any monies made from the auction will be given to Hal. If we have more that the $120.00, the excess will be used for the next reunion.
At some point we will have pictures taken by Ron Robershaw and he will put them on the internet for all to see.
Each family will need to bring enough food for their family and one other person.
