June Birthdays

Two of the early Birthday Children, older son John and younger sister Valerie!! Mom Marlene had worked very hard on Friday, preparing for the big day of Celebration on Saturday June 10th, to have a Party for her three children born in the early part of June!! She had prepared appetizers for the early arrivals, main dish, a big pot of chili with corn bread and of course three cakes, one for each child!!
Well the main event has arrived, in the center a proud Mother Marlene displaying her workmanship, three chocolate covered Sicilian Cassatas!! On the left she is joined by her June Birthday children, John, Tom, and Valerie. And the kids are all together on the right, ready for a piece of Cassata!! p.s. My piece was very delicious!!!!!!!!!!! "Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday to You"
Older sister Natlie was in charge of lighting the candles, with the Birthday girl Valerie looking on!!
The Birthday Boy, Tom blowing out his candles!! They each took turns blowing out the candles on their cake!! Lucky Valerie? One of her candles was a trick candle and kept coming back on. Younger brother helping her out!!
Mom Marlene and daughter Natalie cut the cakes to make sure each cake was divided equally? Yes!!

Keeping with tradition, Natalie brought me a cup of coffee. And she brought her friend Mark also!!
Well here are four of the children. Giovanni in the backgroud, was the first in the pool, Then Justin, Olivia and twin sister Chloe!!
Here is a picture of grandson Justin jumping into the pool. That was the main activity for the kids!
Here I got Olivia's attention and she posed for Papa!!
Twin sister Olivia above and Chloe on the right jumping into the pool. This was their favorite thing to do? At least they all took turns seeing if they could splash each other!!
And this is Giovanni sitting in the jacuzzi? Giovanni is very athletic and when he jumped in the pool he could do flips, rolls etc.while in the air!!

A very good picture of Chloe in the pool!! And the Birthday Boys {Dad's} Tom and John above had to finally asked their children to quit swimming and come have their pieces of Cassata!! I checked with a couple of the kids, and no I couldn't have their piece!! Oh well I tried!!!!!!!!!!
