Easter Weekend

Sunday Brunch
Our Hosts, daughter Val and her husband Ken Currier. Now who could turn down an invite to share in goodies like these? Val always has a good desert and Ken smoked the steak on the right. There was much more and Val even had ice cream to go with the cake!!
Early arrivals John and sister Natalie hamming it up a little. Son Giovanni behind. John's son Nieto brought his guitar to help entertain, with Aunt Natalie looking on. On the right is a picture of Nieto and Giovanni in the backyard. Nieto is having his Big 16th Birthday on 4/12/18!!!
Here are a few shots of the backyard, including the smoker that Ken used to cook the steak. Words can't describe how much the yard has changed since Val married Ken? There used to be a hillside covered with Eucalyptus trees. Now they have a hen house and chicken's roam the hillside!!

The kids had a big Easter Egg hunt in the backyard after lunch. Anna was in charge and the kids are counting to see if they found them all?

The Party is winding down and the kids, Justin, Chloe and Olivia have found a game of Trivia to play!!

It looks like Dad Tom has found some excitement to end the day on? Host Ken has a 1965 Plymouth Fury sitting in front of the house, and he has agreed to let Tom give us a ride around the neighborhood!! What a way to end a Special Day!! Thank You, Ken and Val.

As the Party ended Ken and Val mentioned perhaps this Brunch idea could become a Family Tradition!! And Everyone said Amen!!
