Don and Grandson Daiven Trip

California, June 28 - July 2, 2014
After Don and Daiven arrived, I called brother Reginald and he met us at a resturant close by for a early dinner!! Afterwards since we were so close to Dad and Mom's old house and where brother Don had lived during his formative years growing up, we decided to stop and let brother Reggie show us about!! It was fun seeing all the work that Dad had put in the back yard. Mom would be pleased seeing the chickens also!!
After we said goodbye to Reggie, it was home to Ramona! Daiven likes to swim and the 1st place he hit was the jacuzzi?
After seeing all my golf clubs in the garage, brother Don suggested that we take Daiven over to the local golf driving range and let him hit a few golf balls. Daiven had never hit a golf ball before. I tried to give him a few pointers and I think he has the potential to play the sport!! Brother Don wanted us to save a few balls for him to hit? I remember playing with Don when we were both younger, he could hit the ball further than me back then!!
Brotherly love on the left or is my younger brother trying to show me up for being the runt in the Family? On the right Daiven loves apples, since my wife Marlene was away on her trip to Italy, I gave Daiven the job of picking the rest of the apples!!
Well we all have to eat don't we? Don and Daiven wanted to go shopping, so I suggested I call my daughter Cindy and have her share some time with me and her Uncle Don. It was her day off and this resturant just happens to be in Parkway Plaza!!
