Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

On June 18th, my Family and other cousins met at Noccalula Falls for our bi-annual Family Reunion!! I attended my first Robershaw Reunion at Noccalula Falls in 1999. Brother Reginald, sister Le Merle, and I flew from San Diego, CA to Houston, Texas. There we joined brother Don and sister Le Verle and went together. I had so much fun at the Reunion, it was like WOW. Cousin Hal had saved so many Robershaw Family photos, it was mind boggling.. We went to Wal-Mart and had copies made for me. From there I became interested in our Family genealogy and wanted a way to share the photos with other members of the Family. Thus I went about finding out how to do a webpage!! On June 24th, Grandaughters Olivia and Chloe became 6 yrs. old. Here is the party at our house !! Most of the family came along with cousins. At left is Chloe and Olivia eyeing the pretty cakes their mom Kim made for them with colors they picked, green for Olivia, yellow for Chloe!! Their favorite colors. In the background is dad Tom and uncle John. At right they are posing with Grandma who made them nightgowns for their birthday. They love to dance and twirl, so really liked this. Bottom left they are playing with the balloons and to the right they are trying out their Hula Hoops from Aunt Valerie. Below is a link of Chloe with the Hula hoop, that day. She picked up the trick of twirling right away. She eventually got up to doing 860 twirls at her home with us watching!! Click here for the Video!!

Oldest grandchild, Katharine Dee Sundberg,age 17,graduated from Scripps Ranch High SChool on June 13th, 2011. Seems like yesterday she was born.She did very good academically and is now a "Mensa Society international member" for high I.Q's. She is a student at U.C. Santa Barbara(full scholarship) and loving it. At right are the family members that attended.
Here are some pictures of our older twins, Julia and Anna. They were 12 in August. At left they have just decorated the table for a dinner we had for their Dad and at right, they have just finished a game of tennis. Julia takes tennis lessons and Anna is busy in school activities.
Here is are some of Marlene's activities this year. At left she is with her Aunt Berta, at a Tea Room celebrating Berta's 95th birthday. At right she is visiting with 3 cousins up North in San Jose and San Francisco. Top is Laurie and Sandra and bottom is Karen and Marlene. They represent 3 of the Marchese children of the previous generation.
This year we had 2 Thanksgivings. At left is the one on Thanksgiving Day with John, Natalie, and Valerie's families. Plus Valerie's husband's parents visiting from Northern Ca. On the right is the early Thanksgiving with Tom and family, wife Kim's parents came from Montana on Thanksgiving, so we had ours with them early. Alot to be Thankful for !!
Well, Marlene had another birthday !! they just don't stop coming, darn. Her favorite thing for Birthday is a night and day in Coronado Island. Left is wonderful dinner at Brigintine with Swordfish, risotto, dessert and wine. At right is Ron in front of the Hotel Del Coronado. We always have fun walking the beach by the beautiful Houses and the special Sunset !!
