Beautiful Poinsetta bouquet that Daughter Cindy brought for Christmas visit with Dad & Marlene!! She was so thoughtful she brought Mom Marlene a dessert that she remembered Marlene liked!! After a good enjoyable lunch we all went through the house reminiscing about old pictures & memories from our past!! Afterwards it was picture taking time, trading gifts & then the long drive back home to Alpine for Cindy!!
My goal this year is to take all our guests picture, that come to share Christmas with us by the Christmas Tree. Since Marlene & I are getting older, it seems more like work than fun to put up a real tree!! We were so happy Cindy got to come visit, she usually does Christmas with husband Dave's family that lives close by in Alpine!!
Ha Christmas morning, yes that is all that is left under the Christmas tree? No grandkids or other Family here!!! Well daughter Natalie is providing Christmas Dinner for us later in the day!! On the right Marlene is holding our gift, a gift card from brother Reggie, and a special treat from longtime friend Tracey Sales from our younger days when we lived in Lemon Grove!! Also from daughter Cindy, a box of Honey Jars of different flowers in the area, is under the tree!!
Above left I am holding a tree of Giardella chocolates from our friend Tracey!! And in the center daughter Natalie has arrived and on the right she and Mom Marlene are displaying a proper hello, allowing for the virus. Natalie with mask on and touching elbows?
Natlie above with gifts from Mom & Dad. In the center Natlie not only furnished us Christmas Dinner, I am holding all the goodies (cookies etc.} she gave us. On the right is the precooked turkey dinner, with dressing, potato salad, cranberry sauce and rolls. We all thought it was a very tasty dinner!!

On the left Marlene is sharing an album of pictures of Natalie when she was a baby and a child growing up, and the different places they lived along the way!! It was a fun time for both, Mom & daughter!!As Christmas comes to and end this year, we realize how God has Blessed us with Family & Friends!! Here is one more picture of Marlene & I by the Christmas Tree. We thought it was very pretty at night with lights, and we do appreciate the grandchildren Chloe & Olivia for decorating it for us!!!!!!!!!!
